  • Arithmetic of function fields, Drinfeld modules, zeta and L-series (Pellarin)
  • Combinatorics (Malvenuto): algebraic combinatorics, extremal combinatorics of permutations, Hopf Algebras of combinatorial structures, symmetric and quasi-symmetric functions.
  • Discrete mathematics and Theoretical  Computer Science (D'Alessandro): finite automata and their generalizations; semi-linear sets and algebraic languages; exact description of vector partition functions and applications to formal languages and discrete structures.
  • Invariant theory and algebraic groups (Bravi, Papi, Pezzini): algebraic varieties with an algebraic group action, covariants in exterior algebras of simple Lie algebras, spherical varieties.
  • Lie Theory (Papi): algebraic Dirac operators, combinatorics of finite and affine root systems, Lie superalgebras.
  • PI Theory (Spinelli): codimension growth, minimal varieties, Lie structure of group algebras.
  • Vertex algebras (De Sole, Papi): conformal embeddings of affine vertex algebras,  orbifold vertex operator algebras, structure of classical (finite and affine) W-algebras, Dirac reduction for Poisson vertex algebras, Poisson structures and applications to the theory of integrable systems, tau-functions for integrable systems
